With just 150 vehicles being made, the Aston Martin Valkyrie hypercar is one of the most exclusive vehicles in the world. Aston Martin has recently completed the first examples of the highly-anticipated Valkyrie, and will be delivering them to customers in the next few weeks.
The Aston Martin Valkyrie is built in the brandās UK headquarters located in Gaydon, with a dedicated team who handles the entire process from production until delivery. Each Valkyrie is being built in a specialized production area by hand, with each vehicle taking over 2,000 man hours to complete.
Aston Martin is also track-testing each and every Valkyrie before it is delivered at the Aston Martin high performance facility at Silverstone – the home of British Motor Racing. The development of the Valkyrie has largely taken place at that legendary racetrack, so naturally it made sense to test every model there as well.
āIt is an immensely proud moment for us to complete our first ever hypercar. The Aston Martin Valkyrie programme has tested everyone who has worked on it to the limit but the commitment to the dream has produced a truly incredible car, an F1Ā® car for the road,ā said Tobias Moers, Aston Martin Chief Executive Officer.
The Aston Martin Valkyrie features a hybrid V12 powertrain that develops an impressive 1,140 horsepower and includes technologies and concepts taken from Formula OneĀ® to create a generation-defining hypercar for the road.
Aston Martin recently announced they will be producing a limited run of 85 Valkyrie Spider models as well, which promises an unmatched, top-down driving experience.
